The first automotive-grade device LS98102-V released

With our core interests vested in the realms of automotive electronics and Internet of Things (IoT), since inception, we have set out sights on creating the first automotive-grade field reconfigurable device, LS98102-V. The march towards this goal began in earnest in March 2022 when the LS98102-V project was officially initiated. Our dedicated R&D team set out to design the chip, strictly adhering to all automotive processes. In parallel, our operation team collaborated with JCET Group to design specialized packages (QFN14, 3mm*3mm) that comply with automotive standards, as well as corresponding testing procedures. After three months of tireless effort, we successfully produced the LS98102-V wafer in June 2022. By September, comprehensive wafer testing was completed, and the enhanced industrial-grade LS98102 (TQFN14, 1.6mm*2mm) was launched in the marketplace. Up to now, this advanced industrial-grade device has been evaluated and tested by 12 customers, including 3 prominent domestic Tier 1 companies. All these customers have considered incorporating our automotive-grade product, LS98102-V, into their future product designs.

By early December 2022, we had completed the packaging of LS98102-V, and the results of the functional tests surpassed our expectations. We are currently providing automotive-grade samples to our clients. Concurrently, the AECQ-100 certification process (Grade 1) has started, with completion projected for May 2023.

The LS98102-V integrates a wealth of digital and analog resources, facilitating multi-functional integration in automotive electronic products. This enables reductions in component numbers, area, power consumption, and costs while enhancing reliability. The device can support an MCU in achieving enhanced IO expansion, level conversion, voltage monitoring, complex logic control, watchdog functionality, among other features. It can find usage in a host of applications like intelligent cabins, central control and instrumentation, smart gateways, battery management, and domain controllers.
